21 Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith.
22 Nevertheless—whosoever putteth his trust in him the same shall be lifted up at the last day. Yea, and thus it was with this people.
This always remind me that it is the Lord's timetable, not ours. There is so many times I want answers now and this scripture always remind me to put my trust in him and be patient. Also reminds me to endure well and gracefully, which I strive to do everyday. Many days I fall short but I keep striving to become the best I can.

I like Sister Storey's comments. Sometimes the Lord sees fit to strengthen us during our trials instead of removing them from our backs right away. We have to have faith that He knows what is best for us and keep moving forward even when we can't see the great things He has in store for us.

I am impressed that Alma and his people continued CHEERFULLY and PATIENTLY after the Lord eased their burdens, while they continued to be in bondage (see Mosiah 24:15). This provides an excellent example for me.

I agree with both of you. I so often look at my trials as times of sorrow and pain but in reality they should be a time of learning. If we have patience the Lord will reveal all that we need to learn and thus our burdens are blessings. Last night in our adult session of Stake conference we were instructed on how to endure to the end. What that means and the blessings of enduring to the end. It shows that the Lord knows us. We are reading about patience, burdens, enduring to the end and then a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ comes to our stake conference with the same message. The gospel is awesome, isn't it. Thank you sister Grimm and Sister Storey for blogging each week. I would be a very lonely blogger without you :)
