When I was studying this week I realized how important the 12th article of faith is. We need to obey our leaders. Also how much is written about the wars are for us to learn. I am so grateful for all Joseph Smith went through so we can have the Book of Mormon here on this earth. It is true and the gospel is true.

I agree with you sister Storey. Our church has a living prophet and 12 apostles. We are so lucky. We have prophets of God to follow. Plus, we have organziational leaders, bishops, and stake presidents. Having worked with President Johnson the past five years my testimony has strengthend in regards to sustaining our leaders. I have seen the Lord work through President Johnson and it is amazing to see the wisdom and revelation of the Lord through him. Isnt' the gospel awesome!

One of my favorite verses this week was Alma 60:23:

"Do ye suppose that God will look upon you as guiltless while ye sit still and behold these things? Behold I say unto you, Nay. Now I would that ye should remember that God has said that the inward vessel shall be cleansed first, and then shall the outer vessel be cleansed also."

I am so grateful to have the fullness of the gospel and the wonderful leaders of the church on every level, to help me in accomplishing this cleansing. There is great power in living the gospel. What a blessing!
